MVP gives you convenience and savings with our dental and vision plan offerings. You can choose these plans as standalone or alongside your MVP health plan.


We partner with Healthplex to offer dental coverage through a network of fully credentialed general dentists and specialists. We also offer an additional pediatric base plan through Delta Dental. These plans, available in New York, can be purchased with an MVP medical plan or separately.

For Medicare members, all of our plans come with preventative dental benefits offered through DenteMax.


Our vision plans are powered by EyeMed, which means every doctor in our network is carefully selected to ensure our members have the flexibility to choose from the right mix of independent, national retail, and regional retail providers, including: 

  • LensCrafters® 
  • Target Optical® 
  • Pearle Vision® 

Plus, we offer online, in-network options through: 

Members, including the plan subscriber and dependents, must be enrolled in an MVP medical plan to be eligible for a vision plan purchase. 

 

Dental and Vision Coverage for Individuals and Families 

All MVP Vermont Individual medical plans include embedded pediatric dental benefits. All dependents, up to age 21, have access to preventive, routine, and major services—from any licensed provider—giving you and your family members the freedom to choose any dentist you like. Individuals and families in Vermont and New York can choose the MVP vision plan that is right for them. 

Dental and Vision Coverage for Small Groups 

All MVP New York and Vermont Small Group medical plans include embedded pediatric dental benefits. All dependents, up to age 19 in New York and age 21 in Vermont, have access to preventive, routine, and major services—from any licensed provider—giving members the freedom to choose any dentist they like. Note: Prior authorization is required for prosthodontic and orthodontic services with MVP Dental for Kids® and MVP Delta Dental PPO. You can find this form on the  Members Forms page, then Claims and Reimbursement .
